Disrupting systems for global sustainability
The current Futures CoLab activity - Systems disruptions for sustainability - will generate ideas about leverage points for systems-level changes that could steer the world toward enhanced global sustainability. This exercise is the first step in developing a Research and Innovation Agenda, part of a broader, Future Earth-led initiative: Sustainability in the Digital Age.
The three-week process will yield a ranked list of systemic disruptions and leverage points which have the highest potential to lead us down a path toward global sustainability. Using this as an input, the Expert Advisory Committee guiding the development of the Research and Innovation Agenda will begin to prioritize social and technological innovations today which could lead to the type of breakthrough systems changes we urgently need for a more sustainable tomorrow.
The exercise will take place from March 4 to 24, 2019.
